Elsa Gould, PT, DPT

Practice Owner

Elsa Gould is a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and Pilates instructor with an 18-year practice in the field of orthopedics. She is a graduate of Northwestern’s Physical Therapy and Human Movement Sciences program within the Feinberg School of Medicine.

Elsa is endlessly fascinated by the study of how our bodies move, and what can get in the way of normal movement. She was inspired to write her patient education blog, The Movement Mama, because she believes that we all have the right to feel empowered to care for our own bodies and deserve accurate and accessible information in order to do so. Her pilates and physical therapy wellness sessions are highly personalized to the specific abilities and dysfunctions of her clients. Elsa enjoys working with clients whose complicated medical histories may make them nervous to join an exercise class or those who just finished a course of PT and require continuing guidance from a skilled professional. In addition her extensive work with the average Joes and Janes of the world, Elsa is a former dancer and enjoys working with a variety of performing artists.
